Technical seminars on cultural heritage and landscapes

These days are part of the PATCOM project and will take place between 19 and 20 September in Salamanca

Brussels, 18.09.2019 – The Governing Council of Castile-Leon will hold a technical conference on Cultural Landscapes in Castile-Leon and northern Portugal in the Faculty of Geography and History of the University of Salamanca.

These seminars are part of PATCOM (Common Cultural Heritage), an Interreg Project co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund ERDF through POCTEP and intended for cultural heritage managers and professionals, students and, in short, all those interested in the revaluation of cultural landscapes.

The objective of these days is to reflect on the criteria and patterns of management of the current cultural landscape through presentations and technical visits with specialized professionals, in order to make people aware of the wealth of their territory.

Along the same lines, NAPOCTEP, the Napoleonic route project, seeks to convert the heritage of the time of the French invasions into a quality and sustainable tourist product that generates wealth and employment in Castilian-Spanish areasand the centre of Portugal.
