What is it?
As its own name says, this activity consists in a commented walk along the roads of the Rouliça Route.
The Battle of Rouliça – also known as Roleia – took place on the 17th August, 1808, when the alliance of Portuguese and British troops, under Sir Arthur Wellesley’s command defeated the French troops under Henri François Delaborde’s command.
This battle took place near Roliça in Portugal and it was the first battle that British Army fought during the Peninsular War
