Every 24 October, the International Day against Climate Change is commemorated worldwide. A celebration established by the United Nations, as a result of the great devastation being wrought on the planet by climate change.
Every day, in different parts of the world, the planet sends us messages about the enormous changes it is undergoing: from changing weather patterns that threaten food production to rising sea levels that increase the risk of catastrophic flooding.
The effects of climate change affect us all. If drastic measures are not taken now, it will be much more difficult and costly to adapt to its effects in the future.
